As I move through my sixth decade, it amazes me how my life keeps evolving!
I've balanced careers
in personal/spiritual development and the entertainment industry for
over four decades. In addition to being
a veteran Hollywood script consultant, I’m a Certified Akashic Records Teacher and Advanced Practitioner, a Certified Hypnotherapist,
and a Life&Soul Coach. I've also trained with futurist Barbara
Marx Hubbard as an ACE (Agent of Conscious Evolution!).

My writing, spiritual counseling and coaching work are designed to inspire new ways of expanding people’s
lives and
evolving their Souls by boosting their own positive energy. To this end,
I
use inner tools like hypnosis, NLP, therapeutic imagery and Akashic Records guidance. I also blend innovative life balance and breakthrough coaching processes with
insights and
lessons from my own life experiences.

My group and private programs blend Breakthrough Coaching tools with Guided Imagery
to
create balance and energy from the inside out. I also incorporate Quantum
Physics
concepts, Energy-Astrology, Tarot's Universal Archetypes, Personal Feng
Shui,
Therapeutic Imagery and Akashic Records guidance in both my group programs and customized coaching
sessions.
In 2010 I began collaborating with
Camille
Leon (executive director of the Holistic Chambers of Commerce) on
THE EXHILARATION EFFECT: Building the Courage to Take Your Leap of
Faith. It's an empowering book full of adventurous processes, life breakthrough principles and personal stories to help people do more than they've done and be more than they've been. The book rose to the
Top 25 out of 3000 book projects submitted in the
Next Top Spiritual Author 2010 publishing competition! We're now working on several Exhilaration Effect e-books which will be available in 2012, including

Encouraging people to take Leaps of Faith has become a passion of mine over the past
decade. I’ve taken many leaps
since I drove everything I owned at age 21 from Chicago to LA to work in the
film business. I became a public
speaker after overcoming shyness through co-founding Toastmasters4Writers, the
first Toastmasters International chapter designed for writers of all types (based in Burbank CA).
More recently, I’ve launched my own
internet radio shows, taken over as Organizer of the
Holistic Health LA Meetup, and returned
to college at age 56 to become a Certified Hypnotherapist. I’ve also walked on hot coals with Tony
Robbins and completed a half-marathon walk in Hawaii on the Ironman Triathlon track!
I’ve evolved as well through 32 years of marriage to author and Native American Spirituality teacher Glenn Schiffman with whom I've raised our
terrific daughter Risa who's a world-traveler.
As a writer, I’ve co-written 3
screenplays and had chapters published in 5 anthology books. I've also created the Life Energy Tune-Up and Dancing on the Wheel Of
Life programs based on my Intuitive Life Balance coaching telecourses.
As a life coach and trainer, I've led entertainment career breakthrough programs
for Flash Forward Institute and live webinars for Rubicon Results Institute. In addition, I'm an NLP Practitioner, a Certified Simple
Abundance Workshop Leader (personally trained by best-selling author Sarah Ban
Breathnach), and also a Certified One-Hour Mastermind Director.
Since 1985, I've been a speaker on
writing and breakthrough coaching at dozens of entertainment industry and personal
growth expos. I'm also a long-distance
teaching assistant for Vanderbilt University screenwriting classes. My chapter "Key Things to Know About Your Script Before You Write" is in Tarcher/Penguin's new book NOW WRITE! SCREENWRITING: Exercises from Today's Top Screenwriters and Teachers" (available on Amazon).
